Jero Omare-Ogah, a gifted leader of people and manager of resources, is an alumnus of Nigeria’s Ambrose Alli University, the MIT Sloan School of Management, the Columbia Business School and Frankfurt Institute of Finance & Management. He is a financial sector expert with deep expertise in Inclusive Finance and Banking. He is a seasoned executive with over 15 years’ experience spanning such Operations, Business Strategy & Development, Financial Inclusion, Business Process re-engineering, Organizational Alignment and Strategic Planning & Execution. Jero is currently the Managing Director/CEO of Fortis Mobile Money Ltd. where he is responsible for crafting competitive strategies and implementing same. Jero has led many ground breaking initiatives that have not only deepened financial inclusion in Nigeria but have also made Fortis one of the fastest growing institutions in the country. He is an energetic leader known for his ability to envision and create successful outcomes in complex situations in diverse industries and functional expertise, with a tenacious commitment to driving sales, profit, efficiency and market share growth.
Joseph Onyeabor – Holds an MPA in Public Administration, An Alumnus of Columbia Business School, Frankfurt School of Finance and management, a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, a member of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Nigerian Institute of Public Relations and Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria. Has 10 years cumulative experience with 7 years predominantly centered on microfinance banking and financial inclusion. His experience in banking spans across Banking Operations, Marketing and Sales Risk management, Corporate Communications, Brand Management, Mobile Money Operations, Strategy Development and Business Analysis. Prior to assuming the role of Portfolio Manager at Fortis Mobile Money he was the Group Head Microbusiness at Fortis Microfinance Plc where he was responsible for the operations and business activities of Microbusiness of 44 branches in 14 states across Nigeria, he was strategy Assistant, Operations and Risk management Assistant, Executive assistant to the MD | CEO, Brand Manager and Head Corporate Communications all at Fortis Microfinance Bank Plc. He is a CIBN-certified Microfinance Practitioner. Joseph has a flair for strengthening institutions, building systems and institutionalizing processes and controls to deliver results.
Adeniji Adenike – the Portfolio Manager for Client Relationship management is a customer service personnel with over 6 years of cumulative experience in Customer Service/Call Centre. She holds a BTech in Agricultural Economics and Extension from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso. She worked as Senior customer representative officer with MTN Nigeria. She also manages FMM Amazement centre, driving customer acquisition, growing client relationships and handling customer challenges. Also charged with growing the numbers of subscribers and volume of transactions. Adenike is a strong and assertive personality with an eye for details and passion for results.
Amina Adamu-Biu is a graduate of Economics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and holds a Masters in Finance with Risk Management from Bournemouth University UK. Amina is highly skilled in International Business/Investment Management, Financial Reporting and Analysis, Enterprise Risk Management as well as Corporate Governance and Ethics. Her professional memberships are Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) and Chartered Institute of Loan and Risk Management. She has over 8 years working experience in the field of corporate social responsibility and reputational risk management, analysis of investment returns of listed companies, project management and among others mobile money experience. She currently is the Portfolio Manager Digital Payments/Special Projects in Fortis Mobile Money and is the Project coordinator of Fortis/EFInA Mobile Microfinance project which is valued at $1,500,000.
Pauli Chibuike Isiguzo is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), and an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN). He has over 14years cognate experience that cuts across Financial Management, Financial Reporting, Banking, Auditing, Portfolio Management, Strategy and Planning, Financial & Management Consultancy.Before joining Fortis MFB Plc, He served in the following top rate Nigerian companies: Access Bank Plc (Intercontinental Bank Plc), Platinum Mortgage Bank, Equity Bank Ltd, Eurolink Consulting, and Investment Portfolio Management Services (IPMS) Ltd. Some of his career highlights include his appointment as the National Consultant by the World Bank (Country Office Abuja) in 2013 to assist select States in the implementation of IPSAS; Regional Financial Controller, North Central Region in Intercontinental Bank Plc; Head, Internal Audit / Control Dept in Platinum Mortgage Bank. Besides Consulting for the World Bank, He has also consulted for the following entities: Transmission Company of Nigeria (Training); Lavie Energy Ltd; Aso Savings and Loans PLC (Training); CEA Global Services Ltd; Sharna Integrated Farms Ltd; Enochris Investment Development Ltd.
