Deji Fisho is a graduate of Business Administration and holds an MBA from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He holds several diplomas and has attended key seminars locally and internationally. Deji started his banking career in 1992and has had requisite and management training from banks including UBA, Citizen Bank (now Spring Bank) and Ecobank. His professional memberships include the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Institute for Fraud Management and Control, Institute of Capital Market Registrars (ICMR) and Risk Management Association of Nigeria (RIMAN). Other memberships include Abuja Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines & Agriculture (ABUCCIMA) and Abuja Literary Society. He is a consultant to organizations including the British Council, Department for Foreign Development (DFID), the National Hospital Abuja, etc. His consulting competencies cover Business Transformation, Policy, Finance and Strategy. He is an unrelenting entrepreneur and has been actively involved in the initiation and management of several businesses traversing finance, education, insurance, health & hospitality, auto sales & servicing, IT and asset management. Deji Fisho is an author, he currently contributes articles to both local and international journals and magazines. He is a seasoned executive with over 15 years’ experience spanning such Operations, Business Strategy & Development, Financial Inclusion, Business Process re-engineering, Organizational Alignment and Strategic Planning & Execution. Jero is currently the Managing Director/CEO of Fortis Mobile Money Ltd. where he is responsible for crafting competitive strategies and implementing same. Jero has led many ground breaking initiatives that have not only deepened financial inclusion in Nigeria but have also made Fortis one of the fastest growing institutions in the country. Henry Nwawuba is an entrepreneur and a seasoned professional and with over 16 years cognate experience in Sales and marketing in the ICT and Financial Services industry. He is passionate about extending financial services to the unbanked and the drive towards a cashless Nigeria through the mobile payment scheme. He was until January 2011 the Executive Director, Business Development of Fortis Microfinance Bank and contributed immensely to the growth of the bank, creating one of the leading microfinance banks in Nigeria. He led a team from the bank that successfully navigated the complex Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) regulatory landscape to acquire the first mobile money license granted to an MFB. He now serves as a director of Fortis Mobile Money Limited. He has extensive experience in growing start- up businesses and promoting entrepreneurship and has worked in organizations like Colt Telecoms Europe and One-2-One Telecommunications in the UK. He interests span Telecoms, Energy, Mining and Agriculture. He sits on the board of NICNOC Nigeria Limited and Terra International Limited as a Director. Mr. Nwawuba is an alumnus of the University of Jos and attended the Business school of Westminster University London. He is an honorary senior member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (HCIB), an ambassador for Peace and a community police support volunteer in Jos.
Kunle Oketikun is an Alumnus of University of Ibadan, Delta State University, Boulder Institute of Microfinance Italy and Harvard Business School USA. He is also an honorary senior member of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Institute of Cost Management, Risk Management Association of Nigeria and Chartered Institute of Management.He has over 22 years’ experience in Banking. He has competencies acquired in senior positions within Retail, Corporate and Investment Banking from Standard Trust Bank (Now UBA), Lead bank Plc. and Ecobank Nigeria Plc. Prior to Fortis, he was responsible for Ecobank’s branches in Abuja and the Northern states. He was the pioneer Executive Director, Operations and Risk Management in Fortis Microfinance Bank, before being appointed Managing Director/CEO. He is an Associate member of various professional associations including the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (HCIB), Institute of Cost Management (ICM) and Nigerian Institute of Management (ACIM). He is widely travelled and has attended several training programs, both local and International in various aspects of Banking and Leadership. He has been exposed to diverse microfinance training including International Labour Organization (ILO) and Ford Foundation supported trainings on “Making Microfinance Work” as well the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) organized “Capacity Building Training” for Operators of Microfinance Banks in Nigeria. He attended the CBN|NDIC|CIBN recently instituted Microfinance Certified Professional training and examination for all MDs and top Executives of licensed microfinance banks in Nigeria where he bagged the MCIB certification.
A non-executive director of the Company. Mr. Usman holds a B.Sc. degree in Accounting (1989) as well as an MBA from Bayero University, Kano (1995). A seasoned banker with over 22years hands on banking experience acquired in senior managerial positions. He began his career at FSB International Bank and subsequently joined Intercontinental Bank Plc where he was a regional business executive until he left in 2009. Has business interests spanning banking, transportation, insurance and real estate. He has attended various professional courses in Nigeria and abroad. He is happily married and has two children.

Mr. Achibiri is also a Director of Genesis Energy Group Limited, the parent company of Genesis Electricity Limited. The company has just completed the development of the flagship multi-million dollar 84MW Distributed Power Project (DPP), in partnership with General Electricity of USA (GE), at the back of a 20 year Power Purchase Agreement with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) for a dedicated electricity power supply to the largest refinery complex in Sub Sahara Africa, NNPC’s Port Harcourt Refinery Facility. Mr. Achibiri has been conferred with several awards locally and across the globe.
